Designing an AI-Mediated Teacher–Parent Counseling Platform

본 프로젝트 EduConnect는 교사와 학부모 간 소통의 불균형과 교사의 정서적 부담을 완화하기 위한 AI 매개 커뮤니케이션(AI-MC) 기반 상담 플랫폼 서비스 디자인 연구이다. 더블 다이아몬드 프로세스를 적용하여 사용자 인터뷰와 주제분석(Thematic Analysis)을 수행한 결과, 교사는 과중한 상담·기록 업무와 민원 대응의 어려움을, 학부모는 신뢰 형성의 한계를 주요 문제로 인식하고 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 AI 기록 자동화 시스템, 상담보조 챗봇, 상호 정보공유 허브, 교사 보호용 민원 대응 시스템을 제안하였다. 프로토타입은 음성 기록 기반 학생 리포트, AI 상담 매뉴얼, 학부모 요청 알림 등의 기능을 통합 구현하여 교사의 감정노동을 완화하고 협력적 상담 문화를 조성하는 것을 목표로 한다.
EduConnect is a service design project that proposes an AI-mediated communication platform to reduce teachers’ emotional workload and improve parent–teacher collaboration. Using the Double Diamond process and thematic analysis, the study identified pain points such as inefficient counseling, excessive administrative tasks, and lack of trust. The platform integrates AI record management, chatbot counseling support, shared information hubs, and teacher protection features to enable efficient, empathetic, and data-driven communication in education.
