본 연구는 관람객의 역할 변화에 따라 전시의 형태 또한 변화해야 한다는 문제의식에서 출발하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 관람객이 단순한 수용자가 아닌 적극적인 참여자로서 전시에 개입할 수 있도록, **VMD(Visual Merchandising Design) 연출기법을 적용한 사용자 참여형 전시 디자인 서비스 ‘포플롯(ForPlot)’**을 제안하고자 한다. 심층 인터뷰를 통해 도출된 인사이트를 바탕으로, 사용자가 전시의 연출 과정에 직접 참여하고 그 결과물을 함께 완성하는 경험을 제공함으로써 전시에 대한 몰입감과 주체적 경험을 강화하고자 하였다.
This study begins with the awareness that the form of exhibitions must evolve as the role of visitors changes. Accordingly, it proposes “Po-Plot,” a user-participatory exhibition design service applying Visual Merchandising Design (VMD) techniques to enable visitors to engage as active participants rather than passive observers. Based on insights derived from in-depth interviews, the study aims to enhance visitors’ sense of immersion and agency by allowing them to take part in the exhibition staging process and co-create the outcomes.
